Line in the Street: A Case for Gerrymander Reform

Online via Zoom view the 30 minute film Line in the Street, about citizens, activists, and legislators’ fight for redistricting reform in Pennsylvania, one of the most heavily gerrymandered states in the country. After the film, League of Women Voters NYS Deputy Director Jennifer Wilson, Richard Rifkin and other advocates will join a join a discussion with redistricting advocates about gerrymandering in NYS, why reform is important to each of us, and how we can influence the redistricting process to ensure that the final approved map is fair and free of partisan gerrymandering.
