Fall and Halloween Storyteller Visiting Celtic Hall

November 3 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

In partnership with the Irish American Heritage Museum, Celtic Hall invites regional families to a storytelling event at 6 PM on Wednesday, November 3.

Claire Nolan, local seanchai (storyteller) will tell Hallowe’en tales and some stories about Fall. The stories and the event are family-friendly — and we require all children in attendance be accompanied by an adult.

As a teacher of English as a Second Language, Claire Nolan tells stories, many of them true, to international students and immigrants.

She currently teaches at the University at Albany.

She has most recently been telling tales at the Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center in Berne. Claire can also be seen in area middle schools, high schools and colleges telling the story of Mary Harris Jones (Mother Jones) through the Schenectady Theater for Children Great Minds Series.
