Special lunch
Come join us for a special lunch, provided by Mazzone Hospitality’s PRIME Life, on Monday, June 6, at the Beltrone Living Center at noon. We will be serving pasta and meatballs, with entertainment by Peter Yakel.*
Defensive driving class
Save on your auto insurance and mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 21, and Wednesday, June 22, for a two-part driver safety class. The Driver Fitness Center will offer this class from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. both nights for one price of $25. The class is open to drivers of any age. Wellness luncheon
The Health and Wellness Program will host a luncheon, with guest speaker Wendy Stickler-Ocker from the American Cancer Society to present on what there is to know about the organization, on Tuesday, June 21, at noon at the Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center. The complimentary lunch will include vegetable barley soup, a roast beef sandwich, chips and a brownie. Come and join us for a special dinner, provided by Mazzone Hospitality’s PRIME Life, on Monday, June 20, at the Beltrone Living Center at 5 p.m. We will be serving a turkey dinner, with entertainment by Cole Broderick.*
Summerfest
The Colonie Town Band will be putting on a grand performance at the Beltrone Living Center on Monday, June 27, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This event is open to the public and is completely free. Refreshments will also be served at an additional cost. If you are looking for a fun, relaxing night to spend with your family and friends, this is it. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket. The band will play at 7 p.m.
Tool Box
As you get that burst of desire to begin spring cleaning, keep the Tool Box in mind because why toss perfectly good tools when you have the opportunity to donate them? Stop in between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays and work with our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers to pass your “old friends” on to the next tool lover. Umbrella of Colonie
The Home Maintenance Fair was a huge success with nearly 150 seniors learning more about the Umbrella of Colonie program and general home maintenance. As the weather gets nicer and more work needs to be done in and around the house, give us a call at 459-2857, ext. 311.
