Tai Chi for Health

Practice the ancient Chinese art that promotes health and wellness while focusing on new movements in the Tai Chi for Arthritis form. All ages and abilities welcome. 11:15 a.m.

Monday, April 4
Tabletop Gaming

We provide Dominion, Munchkin, and Ticket to Ride with its USA 1910 Expansion Pack. Bring your own favorites. Snacks will be served. 6:30 p.m. For adults and teens age 16 and older.

Coffee & Conversation: NASA’s Search for Life 

Dr. John Delano will talk about the efforts scientists have made in answering the question, “Is there anyone else out there?” Coffee and social hour follows.  1-3 p.m. Co-sponsored by Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc.

Meet Our Local Authors

Celebrate local authors and learn how you can get published too, 1 to 4 p.m. Keynote speaker Lisa Lutz at 1 p.m.; book fair from 2 to 3:30 p.m.; Hollis Palmer to discuss getting published at 3 p.m.

Discuss “Lila” by Marilynne Robinson. Copies are available at the information desk.  Audio and downloadable copies may be available. 1:30 p.m. 

Open Sewing 

Drop in to use the library’s sewing machines and serger. Bring a project or just give them a spin. 6 to 8 p.m.

Lives in Focus

Photographers Paul Tick and Agnes Zellin will discuss and share photos from their book, “Later Rather Than Sooner.” 6:30 p.m. 

Thursday, April 14
Trivia Night

Sign up alone or as a team and match wits with others as we return to the written format popular with past players. 7-8:30 p.m.  Prizes donated by the Friends. For more information, call 439-9314 or visit bethlehempubliclibrary.org.

Coffee & Conversation: Afternoon Music with Bob and Tom

Bob Altschuler and Tom Thorpe will play a mix of bluegrass, country, folk, blues and originals, followed by a coffee and social hour. 1 to 3 p.m. Co-sponsored by Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc. 

Dessert and Dialogue with Bruce Coville

The popular author will be at the library to discuss his work in children’s literature. 7 p.m.; doors open at 6:45 p.m.

Project Runway Fashion Show

Creative teens will show off their runway-ready style and the culmination of two month’s work, 3 p.m.
