CDFMA opening

The Capital District Farmer’s Market Association will be opening once again Tuesday May 6 for it’s 45^th year!  If you haven’t visited this gem, come give us a try. We will be having market sponsored FREE Face Painting and Balloon Gal Jenny doing sculptures for the Kids.

Last year our market awarded 2 Scholarship to the Greenville School for students who are graduating and expect to be continuing their education in Agriculture Development. We feel the responsibility to give back to our community in a way that matters. We are continuing that donation this year, and the scholarships will go to 2 students chosen by the school.

Located in the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church at 428 Kenwood Avenue in Delmar, we are thrilled to bring fresh foods to the community from May 6^th through November 11^th 2025. Every Tuesday, rain or shine unless severe weather makes us cancel, from 2:20 pm – 6 pm.

We have seasonal produce from 3 area farmers, Farm Fresh Milk and Butter (along with homemade Ice-cream Sandwiches), Sourdough Breads, Muffins, Cinnamon Buns, Cookies and other sweet treats from 4 bakers, Jams, Jellies, Gourmet Cheese spreads & Cheesecakes, Maple Products (including maple cotton candy & popcorn), Local Honey products and amazing prepared foods to heat up at home! Local Farmers bring Pork, Beef, Chicken & Eggs. We have dinners to go from Euro Delicacies and La Empanada Llama. This year we are introducing several new vendors- Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner with take home Chicken and Roast Pork Loin dinner options and various side dishes and Wright Cellars with specialty jams and breads from Greenville. We also anticipate the return of much loved Goodway Caribbean Rum cakes. + Google calendar
