ALBANY — Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Hughes, with special guest Joanne Shaw Taylor, is coming to Albany to perform at The Upper Room, Friday, Aug. 19.
With a rock pedigree of bands like Trapeze, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Black Country Communion along with working with a plethora of other rock royalty, it is easy to see why he’s been dubbed “the voice of rock n roll.” Hughes’ performance will be complemented by Taylor — today’s finest female blues rock singer and guitarist, known for soaring guitar solos and heart wrenching vocals. Taylor was recently named “the new face of the blues” by Blues Matters! Magazine.
The Upper Room along with Tier One Talent Group, Inc. in association with STM Entertainment recently announced the show, presented in what was formerly Jillian’s on North Pearl Street in downtown Albany.
