CAPITAL DISTRICT — Monday, April 11, will go down in local history as the day three Presidential candidates came to the region to hold rallies.
Democrat Bernie Sanders is holding a rally at Albany’s Washington Avenue Armory at 2 p.m., while Republican Donald Trump takes over the Times Union Center at 7 p.m. Republican John Kasich is very busy, himself, as he holds a private function at Albany’s Fort Orange Club, followed by trips to Troy’s LaSalle Institute this afternoon and the Saratoga Springs City Center at 5:30 p.m.
Spotlight News reporter Ali Hibbs is on the scene at the Washington Avenue Armory to cover Sanders’ rally, while reporter Tricia Cremo will cover this evening’s Trump event at the Times Union Center. As our reporters take pictures, we will share them here.
