Mondays, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., and Wednesdays, 10 to 11 a.m.
Healthy Bones for Life is a peer-led group exercise. The suggested donation is $2.25 per class.

Come see the Allan Sherman musical at The Theater Barn in New Lebanon. A pizza lunch is included. Depart from AJCC at 10:50 a.m. and return at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $84 for the general public and $77 for JCC members. A prepaid, non-refundable registration fee is due before the trip fills.

The instructor is Lorraine Noval, PhD., a certified master trainer, Asian Arts Group, LLC. The suggested donation is $2.25 for people ages 60 and older. Those under 60 must pay the $2.25 at the senior adult office.
Book Mavens book review
Wednesday, June 29, 3 to 4:30 p.m.
This month’s book is “Mitzvah Stories: Seeds for Inspiration and Learning” by Goldie Milgram. The book contains 60 inspiring stories told by leading Jewish authors and reveals how each mitzvah can become a rich source of spirituality and meaning. The reviewer is Rabbi Beverly Magidson, director of chaplaincy services at the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York.
Papercutting art
June 14, 21 and 28, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The instructor is Mishka Luft, papercut artist. Bring an image or object to class for inspiration. The cost is $52 for the general public and $41 for JCC members, plus a $10 supplies feed paid to the instructor at the first class. Prepaid registration is required.
Jules and Paula Stein Live and Learn lunch lecture series
Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A Kosher lunch follows each lecture, and prepaid registration is required. The cost is $12 JCC members and $14 for non members.
June 2 — A Century of Wisdom: Lessons from the life of Holocaust survivor and concert pianist Alice Herz-Sommer. Speaker Caroline
Stoessinger shared uplifting stories of the world’s oldest Holocaust survivor. The program includes clips from the 2014 documentary “The Lady in Number 6: Music Saved My Life.”
June 23 — The Jews’ Secret Fleet: The untold story of North American volunteers who smashed the British blockade of Palestine. Speaker:
Murray Greenfield, secret fleet volunteer and founder of Gefen Publishing House of Israel.
July 14 — As Good as Anybody: Martin Luther King Jr. and Abraham Joshua Heschel’s journey towards freedom.
