Local Updates (24/7) Clifton Park to hold third Annual River Days this weekend Posted on: 09/29/09 Written by: Spotlight Newsroom, Staff email: news@spotlightnews.com River Days, the town’s annual celebration of the 12 miles of Mohawk riverfront in Clifton Park, will be held this weekend, Friday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 4. Highlights include a fishing derby on Friday, Oct. 2, a riverfront barbecue on Saturday, Oct. 3 and a family bike ride on Sunday, Oct. 4. As part of River Days, visitors are encouraged to launch their canoes and kayaks at Mohawk Lading, the town's new six-acre riverfront park. The park includes a gravel and wooden boardwalk trail that runs across the property to the riverbank This third year of River Days is bigger than ever, with events on all three days.
