Schenectady Fire Dept. responds to Nisky blaze

The Schenectady Fire Department is investigating the source of a five-alarm fire at 1624 Union St, Schenectady on Tuesday, Oct. 6. The fire was responded to at 9:01 a.m. There was smoke and fire damage to the upstairs apartments and water and smoke damage to the street level Armed Forces Career Center and Hot Harry’s Burrito Bar. Schenectady Fire Chief Robert Farstad stated that the investigation into the fire is ongoing.
